Is GratuityPro free?
Yes. GratuityPro is free to download and calculating tips is unlimited. The free version saves up to 5 calculations per day and shows the last 7 days of history.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. You pay once and there is no recurring charge.
What does Pro unlock?
Unlimited saved calculations, the full history, export to CSV and PDF, 4 smart tip suggestions instead of 2, and custom split, where each person enters their own items and the tip is shared proportionally.
How do I restore my Pro purchase?
Open the Pro upgrade screen in the app and tap Restore purchase. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy Pro.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Why do the split shares sometimes differ by a cent?
Equal split is cent-exact: when a total cannot be divided evenly, the leftover cents go to some of the shares so that all shares add up to exactly the total.
Does the receipt scanner upload my photos?
No. Text recognition runs on your iPhone. The image is used only to read the total and the tax, and it is not stored or uploaded.
Does GratuityPro collect my data?
No. There is no account, no ads, and no analytics or tracking. Your calculations, history and settings are stored on your iPhone.
How do I delete my data?
Clear your history from the history screen in the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored on your iPhone.
Which languages and currencies are supported?
7 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Portuguese (Brazil) and Simplified Chinese. 10 currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY, CHF, CNY, MXN and RUB. You can change both in Settings.
